Dear friends,

Our family would like to share some difficult news and humbly ask for your prayers.

Dcn. Andy Lambros has been diagnosed with retroperitoneal sarcoma. The tumor is growing rapidly and is currently about the size of a football. This week, doctors will be determining the next steps in his treatment plan, including whether chemotherapy or radiation will be needed prior to surgery.

The surgery itself will be extensive — at least eight hours — as doctors will need to remove anything the tumor is touching. At this time, that includes one kidney and part of his colon.

We are entrusting everything to the Lord, but this is understandably overwhelming for our family. Thank you for keeping our dad and family in your prayers.
